Torrid Productions in association with Redcape Cinema will be hosting HEROFEST 08', a special one night event at
The Hilton (Gaslamp District - 401 K St., (Marina Room) San Diego ~ directly across from the Convention Center) during the weekend of the world famous San Diego Comic-Con (non-exhibit hours).

The screening event will feature "EVE: BEAUTY AND THE BLADE (Web Series Pilot)" produced by Redcape Cinema and
" THE CROW: PURGATORY II" produced by Bande Dessinée Films. Cast and crew from both film projects will be present for a Q&A panel followed by a networking party all in support of the independent comic-book film community.

HeroFest 08' is not an affiliate of San Diego Comic-Con or The Hilton Hotels. Proceeds of this event will cover rental, promotional, and subsequential service fees. Torrid Productions is a non-profit network of Artists, Musicians, and Independent Filmmakers based in the San Francisco/Bay Area promoting artistic and alternative nightlife convergeance opportunities since 1997. We also provide digital media services specializing in the development of the local arts community.
